Writing 201: Animal
Make shapes with your poems. Go crazy with enjambment. And pay attention to the animal inside. Hello, Day 4!
Today’s word is: Animal
My petite and sweet
Little kitten, loves to run and play
She bounces and prances
Through out the day.
Writing 201: Journey
On the menu today: Journeys, limericks, and alliteration.
Today’s word prompt is journey.
By the bed the bags are packed
Solid and sturdy, they stand stacked
Ready to rock n roll this road trip
Eager excitement escaping my grip
Off for a vacation lickety split
So I am gonna participate in Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. This week’s theme is the Let’s Go Fly a Kite.
Here are the rules:
So read the lyrics (in italic below) and see what you can come up with for a topic. Have fun and remember to find a theme within the verse. Most of all I hope you have fun.
With tuppence for paper and strings, You can have your own set of wings, With your feet on the ground, You’re a bird in a flight, With your fist holding tight, To the string of your kite. Oh, oh, oh! Let’s go fly a kite, Up to the highest height! Let’s go fly a kite and send it soaring, Up through the atmosphere, Up where the air is clear, Oh, let’s go fly a kite!
Ironically I find a Photo Challenge called Which Way, I happen to have a photo of a street sign showing that there is only one way and that way is Jesus.
